Does it really work through cloudy weeks or winter?
Yes — every solar model ships with a LiFePO4 battery sized to cover at least 5–7 nights of typical motion-event use on a single charge. In low-sun regions we recommend the dual-panel MS4x series for extra harvest margin.
How long does the light stay on at night?
The floodlight runs dusk-to-dawn at base brightness, with motion-boost to full brightness when people are detected. Battery sizing is matched to a full night of lighting plus standby monitoring; sustained overcast may reduce brightness, never coverage.
Can the light and camera work independently?
Yes — light schedule and camera settings are configured separately in the app. Some customers run the camera 24/7 and keep the light motion-only for minimal disturbance. Others run both dusk-to-dawn for maximum deterrence.
What is black-light night vision?
Black-light (or super-starlight) night vision uses a large-aperture low-illumination sensor plus invisible 940nm IR fill. It delivers full-color or near-color footage in near-total darkness without the visible red glow of conventional IR cameras — clearer evidence, zero giveaway.
What certifications are available?
